The site provides a digital perspective into life in the Greater Hazelwood community of Pittsburgh. It is the result of a partnership between the residents of Greater Hazelwood and several organizations:

- Students for Urban Data Systems at Carnegie Mellon University
Results from the Greater Hazelwood Community Census are featured in the exploration areas. This survey of about 800 residents highlights the perspectives of of residents on issues ranging from the quality of life in the community to employment status, access to health care, and resident’s desires for youth and adult education. Organizations working on behalf of social justice and community enrichment can request an extended version of the survey which can be used to connect directly to survey respondents who indicated a desire for various social services such as home purchase assistance or information about youth programming.
